Terms of Service

    Last updated: July 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Ars Respirandi website, mobile app, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

    1. The Service

Ars Respirandi is an educational wellness product for structured breathing training, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness practice. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or treatment.

    2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.

    3. Plans and billing

    • Foundations (Free): free forever with limited features.
    • Premium Monthly: $6.99 / month, billed monthly.
    • Premium Yearly: $49 / year, billed annually (~$4.08 / month).
    • All Premium plans include a 7-day free trial. Your card is charged only if you continue past the trial.

    4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or by emailing support@arsrespirandi.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the current period.

    5. Refunds

If you are charged unexpectedly or you cancel within 7 days of your first paid renewal, contact us and we will refund the last payment. Beyond that, refunds are at our discretion where required by applicable law.

    6. Acceptable use

    • Do not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service.
    • Do not share your account or resell access.
    • Do not use the Service if any of the contraindications in our Medical Disclaimer apply to you without medical supervision.

    7. Content

You retain ownership of what you write (journal entries, chat messages). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content within your account and to provide the Service.

    8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Breathing exercises may cause dizziness, tingling, or discomfort — practice safely, seated, and stop if you feel unwell.

    9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ars Respirandi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

    10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ars Respirandi is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

    11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated inside the app.
